We are a Japanese omakase restaurant in Orchard (Scotts Road area) seeking part-time Kitchen Crew to support prep and service for weekday lunch and weekend services. You will work with the kitchen team to keep quality, timing, and hygiene consistent in a fine-dining kitchen.
Pay: S$14–17/hr. Open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.
Key responsibilities
- Mise en place, ingredient prep, and station setup before service
- Assist cooks with hot/cold dishes, garnishes, and plating to house standards
- Support dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and end-of-shift kitchen reset
- Maintain food storage, labelling, FIFO, and temperature checks as guided
- Keep workstations clean and compliant with food safety / hygiene standards
- Communicate clearly with FOH on ticket timing and special requests
- Other kitchen duties as assigned during lunch and weekend services
Requirements
- Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- Prior F&B kitchen or prep experience preferred (Japanese cuisine a plus)
- Well-groomed and presentable
- Comfortable in a fine-dining setting and paced kitchen environment
- Able to follow recipes/SOPs precisely and work standing for long periods
- Flexible availability for weekday lunch and/or weekend shifts
- Basic Food Hygiene certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Physically able to handle kitchen lifting, heat, and cleaning tasks safely
