BASIC FUNCTION

To perform fitting, assembly, installation, and maintenance work on equipment, components, and mechanical parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and company quality and safety standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform fitting, assembly, and installation of mechanical components and equipment.

· Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and work instructions.

· Assembly, installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of production moulds that utilize hydraulic systems.

· Checking the exact mating surfaces of the mould using engineering blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and blue layout.

· Sets up, operates, maintains, and troubleshoots manufacturing equipment used to shape plastic or metal components.

· Preventive Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, and perform routine servicing on molds, pins, cores, and machinery to prevent unexpected breakdowns.

· Operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely and correctly.

· Assist in the fabrication, repair, and modification of metal parts and equipment.

· Inspect finished products and components to ensure they meet the required quality standards.

· Identify fitting problems, defects, and dimensional inaccuracies and report them to the supervisor.

· Carry out routine maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery.

· Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in the workshop and working area.

· Follow all company procedures, safety regulations, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

· Assist other production team members in completing assigned tasks and meeting production deadlines.

· Any other duties assigned by the management as and when required.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

· Minimum SPM, vocational certificate, or equivalent qualification.

· Previous experience in fitting, fabrication, mechanical assembly, or workshop operations is an advantage.

· Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and mechanical components.

· Ability to read technical drawings is an advantage.

· Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Physically fit and able to perform workshop duties.

· Willing to follow safety procedures and work instructions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
