Job description for Accounts Assistant

Functions:
1) Finance & Accounting

• Process & support AP and AR accounts
• Maintain stocks and costing records keeping process up to date
• Support banking Management
• Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts & journals including GST filing and compliance
• Liaise with external auditors, corporate secretary, and tax agents
• Assist in annual filing matters with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA)
• Support Accountant and or adhoc jobs/tasks

2) Human Resources

• Assist in recruitment process (from job postings to successful onboarding)
• Maintain and administer employee personal files including leave forms, monthly claims etc
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations

3) IT & Administrative Support

• Coordinate, liaise & maintain IT records with 3rd party vendors.
• Support team administration and other adhoc duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, IT, or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience, else fresh graduates with high motivation to learn on the job
• Knowledge of Singapore payroll processing and CPF regulations
• Basic understanding of GST and accounting principles
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Navision)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
