Key Responsibilities:

· Manage purchasing of construction materials for projects.

· Supervise purchasing executives and coordinate daily purchasing operations.

· Review material requisitions, quotations, purchase orders and supplier comparisons.

· Source and negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.

· Monitor material deliveries and coordinate with project/site teams.

· Monitor material prices and procurement costs against project budgets.

· Maintain supplier database and evaluate supplier performance.

· Support tender pricing with updated and competitive material quotations.

· Identify alternative suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.

· Ensure purchasing activities comply with company procedures and approval requirements

Requirements:

· Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Construction or related field.

· 5–8 years’ experience in construction material purchasing.

· Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers and market pricing.

· Strong negotiation, and supplier management skills.

· Good knowledge of purchase orders, quotations and procurement procedures.

· Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

· Able to work independently and manage multiple project requirements.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
