Finance Assistant

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support daily accounting and finance operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Check and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and staff claims.
• Record daily transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and monitor outstanding payments.
• Maintain organised financial records and supporting documents.
• Follow up with suppliers, customers and internal departments on billing and payment matters.
• Support month-end closing, financial reports and audit preparation.
• Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Previous accounting or finance experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with Autocount or similar accounting software is an advantage.
• Accurate, organised and able to meet deadlines.
• Responsible, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
