Job Title: Fashion Designer

Job Summary We are seeking an innovative, analytical, and trend-focused Fashion Designer to lead the end-to-end conceptualization, design strategy, and technical positioning of our seasonal apparel collections. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative visual storytelling and technical manufacturing specifications. Partnering closely with Product Developers, fabric sourcing vendors, and marketing teams, you will translate global consumer insights into commercially successful, cohesive product stories that perfectly match our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Collection Conceptualization: Research and analyze emerging fashion movements, global style trends, and consumer behaviors to establish comprehensive mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal themes.
• Technical Design & Sketching: Translate original design concepts into detailed CAD sketches, technical drawings, print placements, and comprehensive Tech Packs for manufacturing handovers.
• Fabric & Trim Sourcing: Evaluate and select appropriate textiles, fabrications, trims, and components, balancing design intent with strict target cost metrics.
• Fit & Sample Management: Lead prototype fitting sessions to review garment proportion, line, silhouette, and drape, providing precise structural refinement notes to cross-functional partners.
• Vendor Collaboration: Maintain daily communications with sample rooms and offshore production factories to resolve technical pattern execution or construction bottlenecks.
• Portfolio Integrity: Monitor full product lifecycles, ensuring bulk production samples maintain absolute design fidelity and fulfill specified quality benchmarks.

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Construction, Textile Science, or a related creative discipline.
• Experience: Demonstrated professional track record in apparel design, pattern drafting, or building commercial clothing lines (a strong, diverse portfolio showcasing technical drawing capability and design translation is required).
• Technical Fluency: High proficiency with creative and pattern illustration software tools (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Product Lifecycle Management - PLM systems).
• Competencies: Keen insight into garment fit mechanisms, fabric behavioral properties, pattern scaling rules, and commercial margins.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills to deliver collection pitches to leadership and correspond technically with global manufacturing factories.

Pay: $2,200.00 - $5,500.00 per month
