Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Purchaser, Purchasing Executive, or in a similar procurement role.

Hands-on experience handling import and export operations is required.

Familiarity with international shipping procedures, customs clearance, and import/export documentation.

Experience coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs clearance agents.

Good negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Able to manage multiple orders, monitor delivery schedules, and meet deadlines.

Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

Source and evaluate suppliers to obtain competitive prices, quality products, and favorable purchasing terms.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

Prepare and process purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and other purchasing documents.

Handle import and export arrangements, ensuring shipments comply with relevant trade requirements.

Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs clearance agents.

Prepare and verify import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other relevant shipping documents.

Monitor shipment status, delivery schedules, and customs clearance progress.

Ensure goods are delivered on time and resolve purchasing or shipping issues when they arise.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and shipment documentation.

Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate with relevant departments to avoid stock shortages or delays.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and applicable import/export regulations.

Perform other purchasing and logistics-related duties as assigned by management.
