Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, data centre, and cloud environments.
• Manage and maintain network security solutions including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point firewalls.
• Configure and administer routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and L2/L3 networking.
• Design, configure, and manage NTP time servers and network services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network and infrastructure issues.
• Lead network architecture planning, implementation projects, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Support software-defined networking (SDN) and software-defined data centre initiatives.
• Utilize network diagnostic and monitoring tools such as Wireshark and network analysers for fault isolation and performance optimization.
• Partner closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.
• Act as an escalation point and trusted advisor for network-related incidents and strategic initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery and network resilience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CCDE, CCIE (Routing & Switching), CCIE (Data Centre), or equivalent network/security certifications.
• Strong hands-on experience managing Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point firewall environments.
• Extensive experience with enterprise network design, implementation, and architecture in large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, SDN, and WAN/LAN technologies.
• Experience supporting geographically distributed network environments.
• Familiarity with Software Defined Networks and Software Defined Data Centre technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to handle high-priority escalations and provide technical leadership within the team.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for innovation, service improvement, and emerging networking technologies.
