About Arki:
Arki is a Singapore-based digital wealth management platform on a mission to make investing more accessible, intelligent and intuitive. We combine investment expertise, technology and customer-centric design to help individuals build long-term wealth and achieve greater financial security.
As we grow, we are building an integrated marketing technology ecosystem that supports customer acquisition, digital onboarding, personalised engagement, retention and data-driven growth. We are looking for a hands-on MarTech Engineer to build, integrate, maintain and optimise the technology that powers it.
The Role:
This is a technical engineering role, not a traditional digital marketing or campaign management position.
You will take ownership of our marketing technology infrastructure, ensuring that our marketing platforms, mobile application, customer data systems and analytics tools work together securely and reliably.
Working closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data and Compliance, you will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that improve the customer experience and support measurable growth.
You should be equally comfortable troubleshooting an API integration, investigating discrepancies in customer event data and configuring complex automation workflows.
What You’ll Do:
Marketing Technology Architecture & Integration
- Own the technical implementation and ongoing maintenance of our marketing technology stack
- Implement, configure and integrate customer engagement platforms (e.g. CleverTap, Braze, MoEngage)
- Develop and maintain integrations between marketing platforms, our mobile app, backend systems, analytics platforms and advertising channels
- Work with Engineering on mobile SDK integration, APIs, webhooks and server-side event tracking
- Evaluate new marketing tools and recommend architectural improvements
- Troubleshoot integration failures, data synchronisation issues and platform performance problems
- Maintain clear documentation of configurations, data flows and system dependencies
- Keep solutions scalable, maintainable and aligned with our broader engineering architecture
Customer Data Infrastructure & Event Tracking
- Design and maintain a consistent customer event-tracking framework across our digital platforms
- Implement and validate customer lifecycle events across the onboarding and investing journey
- Define event schemas, naming conventions, user attributes and lifecycle states
- Build reliable pipelines for transferring permitted customer events and attributes between internal systems and marketing platforms
- Implement data quality checks to detect missing events, duplicates and tracking inconsistencies
- Partner with Data and Engineering to keep customer information accurate and consistent across systems
- Apply data minimisation principles and approved access controls to all integrations
Marketing Automation & Customer Lifecycle Journeys
- Design, implement and maintain automated customer engagement journeys
- Configure event-based triggers, audience segmentation, conditional workflows and personalised communications
- Support journeys spanning onboarding, activation, education, engagement, retention and reactivation
- Deliver automation across push notifications, email and in-app messaging
- Configure frequency caps, communication preferences, suppression logic and eligibility conditions
- Support A/B testing, experimentation and continuous optimisation
- Ensure workflows are properly tested, documented and approved before deployment
Marketing Analytics, Attribution & Measurement
- Implement and maintain marketing analytics and attribution integrations
- Support integrations with advertising platforms, analytics tools and mobile measurement partners
- Establish reliable tracking of acquisition sources, campaign conversions and lifecycle performance
- Build reporting pipelines and dashboards that give clear visibility of the customer funnel, engagement and retention
- Reconcile advertising platform metrics with internal customer records
- Support experimentation and conversion funnel analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency through better measurement, automation and data quality
Data Security, Privacy & Governance
- Follow our information security, data protection and technology governance policies
- Implement integrations using approved architectures and access controls
- Apply least-privilege principles and minimise customer data shared with third-party systems
- Work with Engineering and Compliance to meet applicable privacy and regulatory requirements
- Support consent management, communication preferences and opt-out controls
- Maintain logs, documentation and auditability of configurations and data transfers
- Handle credentials and customer information only through approved company-managed systems
- Participate in security and access reviews, and escalate suspected incidents promptly
Technical Operations & Collaboration
- Serve as the technical point of contact for marketing technology initiatives
- Translate marketing requirements into clear engineering specifications and tasks
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering on releases requiring tracking or integrations
- Test, debug and validate marketing technology changes
- Monitor system reliability and resolve issues affecting engagement or reporting
- Develop SOPs and train marketing colleagues to run routine campaigns independently
- Coordinate with external technology vendors where specialised expertise is needed
- Continuously improve operational efficiency through automation
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–6 years of experience in marketing technology engineering, marketing automation, systems integration or growth engineering
- Hands-on implementation experience with at least one customer engagement platform, such as CleverTap, Braze, MoEngage, Iterable or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON and integration architecture
- Experience with mobile app event tracking and SDK integration
- Familiarity with Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics 4 or comparable platforms
- Experience building automated journeys, behavioural segmentation and event-driven communications
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation, segmentation and troubleshooting
- Ability to diagnose integration issues alongside backend and mobile engineers
- Understanding of data security, access controls and customer privacy principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and ownership of technical delivery
Nice to Have:
- Programming experience in Python, JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with mobile attribution platforms
- Experience with cloud data infrastructure and data warehouses
- Understanding of ETL/ELT, customer data platforms and event-streaming architectures
- Experience with server-side conversion tracking and advertising platform integrations
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI or Metabase
- Experience with CI/CD, version control and structured release processes
- Exposure to security monitoring, identity management and role-based access controls
- Experience in fintech, banking, investment platforms or other regulated financial services
The Ideal Candidate:
You are a technically strong, execution-oriented engineer who enjoys building technology that delivers measurable business outcomes. You are not simply a user of marketing software: you understand how the underlying systems connect and can independently investigate and resolve technical challenges.
You collaborate comfortably with marketers, product managers and software engineers, and you value accuracy, reliability, security and maintainable engineering practices. You thrive in a fast-moving environment where ownership, initiative and practical problem-solving matter.
