Job description

• Conduct training for new production operators to ensure they are competent and qualified before being assigned to production processes.
• Assess and regularly review operator competency, ensuring compliance with work instructions, process requirements, and quality standards.
• Develop, maintain, and update training materials, including training slides, competency assessments, skill matrices, and training records.
• Collaborate with Engineering and QA to ensure timely training and retraining on new processes, Work Instructions (WI), Technical Deviation Notices (TDN), Engineering Change Notices (ECN), and quality alerts.
• Work closely with Production Supervisors and Leaders to identify training needs and ensure sufficient qualified manpower is available to support daily production requirements.
• Plan, execute, and monitor multi-skill training programs to improve workforce flexibility and support manpower allocation across different production processes.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through practical assessments, operator performance, cycle time achievement, yield rates, and quality compliance.
• Ensure operators are properly trained in workplace safety, 5S practices, equipment handling, and production discipline.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of production processes, machine operations, quality requirements, and potential process-related defects.
• Monitor operator training progress, certification status, and competency gaps, ensuring timely follow-up and corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit training progress reports, competency assessments, and training effectiveness updates to Production Management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operator skills, productivity, quality, and overall production efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Required Education & Experience

• Minimum Diploma or Certificate in any discipline or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in manufacturing, preferably in production training or operator competency development.
• Experience in conducting operator training, competency assessments, and maintaining training records.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, work instructions, quality standards, and production safety requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, particularly in preparing training materials, reports, and competency tracking.
• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver effective training to operators.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and follow up on multiple training activities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with Production, Engineering, and QA teams.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
