Position : Business Development Manager - Remote Sensing and GIS

Position Type : Permanent

Key Responsibilities :

1. Build, manage, and expand relationships with key clients, including Government agencies, GLCs, and corporate organizations.

2. Engage with mid to senior-level stakeholders, with opportunities to influence C-level decision-makers on strategic initiatives.

3. Understand client business needs, objectives, and challenges to position suitable geospatial (Remote Sensing & GIS) solutions.

4. Identify and develop new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing accounts.

5. Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, to deal closure.

6. Develop and execute account plans and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and KPIs.

7. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring accurate updates in CRM, forecasting, and reporting to management.

8. Contribute to market expansion strategies and identify potential areas for business growth.

9. Support or lead involvement in tenders, bids, and large-scale project opportunities.

10. Prepare and present regular reports on sales progress, account status, and business initiatives.

Requirements :

1. Minimum 6 years’ experience in Business Development and Sales Management.

2. Bachelor’s degree of Remote Sensing, Geomatics, GIS, Geospatial and Surveying from an accredited university.

3. Experience in managing Government, Public Sector, Government-Linked Companies, Multinational Companies is required.

4. Work experience in remote sensing and GIS field would be an advantage.

5. Strong communication and presentation skills to senior-level customers.

6. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
