• Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology or a related discipline.

• At least one year of relevant experience in technical sales, sales engineering, business development or a related customer-facing role.

• Strong spoken and written English and Mandarin, as you will support Mandarin-speaking customers.

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development activities.

• A proactive, accountable and customer-focused approach to work.

Advantageous experience

• Experience in the semiconductor, solar PV, electronics manufacturing or industrial technology sectors.

• An established customer network in the relevant industries.

• Knowledge of Industry 4.0, manufacturing digitalisation, automation or artificial intelligence.

• Experience in sales planning, pipeline management or solution-based selling.

• The ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Identify new market opportunities and develop a pipeline of potential customers.

• Build relationships with customers in the semiconductor, solar PV and electronics manufacturing sectors.

• Conduct customer visits, meetings, product presentations and business discussions.

• Understand customer challenges and translate them into suitable software, automation or digitalisation solutions.

• Prepare sales proposals, presentations and commercial discussions.

• Manage existing accounts and identify opportunities for expansion.

• Work closely with internal technical and business teams to support customer requirements.

• Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to support business planning.

• Develop and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

• Maintain accurate sales activities, opportunities and follow-up plans.

• Support business development initiatives and other projects assigned by the department head.
