About the Client:

This role places you within the technology and operations division of our premier banking client. This division powers software and system development, IT support services, and core banking operations across multiple international markets. The team operates a secure, standardised, and flexible global banking infrastructure and focuses on operational excellence, process optimisation, automation, and delivering seamless financial services.

Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis & Requirements Management: Collaborate with business unit specialists to elicit, review, and validate data and business requirements. Perform impact assessments and analyse "to-be" operational processes.
• Functional Design & Solution Alignment: Translate complex data requirements into clear functional specifications for System Analysts, ensuring end-to-end traceability.
• Data Profiling & Mapping: Oversee data mapping, transformation rules, and data validation processes to ensure high-quality data integration.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Review test plans, support SIT and UAT cycles, and lead defect prioritisation, tracking, and resolution.
• Project Delivery: Monitor scope, manage project change requests, mitigate risks, and coordinate execution across business and technology teams.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of business analysis experience with a strong, demonstrable track record of delivering data-related initiatives.
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in data profiling, validation, and data mapping/transformation.
• Solid understanding of relational database structures and data architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including Macros), SharePoint, and JIRA.
• Strong grounding in change management and SDLC project management fundamentals.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
