Role Description The Data Center role at Mastura International College is a full-time, on-site position based in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves monitoring data center systems, maintaining server and network infrastructure, and ensuring high availability and reliability of critical services. Daily tasks include performing routine inspections, managing backups, applying updates and patches, and responding promptly to technical incidents. The position also requires collaborating with internal teams, documenting procedures, and supporting projects related to data center expansion and optimization. The team member is expected to follow established security, safety, and compliance standards while contributing to continuous improvement of data center operations.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Data Center Operations and practical experience working in Data Centers.
• Ability to manage and maintain Infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network equipment.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting and providing Technical Support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Knowledge of data center security, backup and recovery practices, and monitoring tools.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Capacity to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur, manage shifts if required, and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to document processes clearly.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
