About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Die Casting Engineer to support our die casting production operations, process improvement, quality control, and troubleshooting activities in the automotive manufacturing industry.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support daily die casting production activities to ensure smooth operations and achievement of production targets.
• Troubleshoot die casting process issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with established specifications and standards.
• Analyse production data and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and process efficiency.
• Support die casting machine, die, and tooling maintenance activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to reduce defects, downtime, and production costs.
• Prepare production reports, technical documents, and process-related records.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other relevant departments to resolve operational issues.
• Communicate and coordinate with Japanese counterparts on technical matters, production issues, and improvement activities.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh Graduates are encourage to apply.
• Candidates with JLPT N5 or above are preferred. Proficient in Japanese language is a MUST to communicate effectively with Japanese counterparts.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willing to learn and develop technical knowledge in die casting processes.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates with relevant experience in die casting or automotive manufacturing will have an added advantage.
