We are seeking a creative and self-motivated Content Creator / Social Media Specialist to drive our brand awareness through engaging visual and written storytelling. Based full-time at our office or project site in Lahad Datu, Sabah, you will handle the entire content production pipeline from brainstorming and shooting to editing and management across our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Production: Brainstorm, shoot, and edit high-quality photos, videos, and engaging short-form content (TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts) highlighting products, local events, and site operations around Lahad Datu.
• Copywriting: Write clear, compelling, and creative copy for social media captions, newsletters, blogs, and marketing materials.
• Social Media Management: Manage, update, and grow the company’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) according to the content calendar.
• Community Engagement: Monitor digital media trends, trending audio, and platform algorithms while engaging with the online community by responding to comments and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Analytics & Reporting: Analyze content performance metrics (engagement, reach, views) and prepare monthly social media reports for management.
• Asset & Team Collaboration: Maintain a clean digital library of raw footage and edited media, while collaborating with marketing and design teams to align with brand guidelines.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
• Portfolio: Must present a proven portfolio or links to active social media accounts showcasing commercial video editing, photography, and copywriting work.
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Creative Multimedia, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (open to highly experienced self-taught creators with an exceptional portfolio).
• Technical & Software Skills: Proficient in mobile/DSLR camera operations, basic lighting, and external audio. Highly skilled in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, VN Editor) and graphic design applications (Canva, Photoshop).
• Language & Culture: Excellent written/spoken communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English; fluency in local Sabahan dialects is a strong advantage for authentic local engagement.

Pay: RM1,700.00 per month
