[What the role is]
As a member of HDB’s Strategic Communications & Engagement Group, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the development and implementation of communications strategies to promote understanding of HDB’s policies and programmes.[What you will be working on]
Your role in Media Relations includes:
- Strategising and executing publicity plans to profile Singapore’s public housing programme and policies across mainstream and online news media, and on HDB’s owned platforms
- Planning and organising media visits and events and engaging the media to create greater awareness and understanding of HDB’s policies and programmes
- Assessing and crafting timely responses to media queries, forum letters, commentaries and editorials
- Monitoring and providing analysis of media coverage on HDB, and planning publicity to address issues of media interest
[What we are looking for]
Requirements
You should possess an excellent command of English and strong interpersonal skills. You should also have a keen interest in current affairs and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in communications, journalism, design, or a related field will be a strong advantage.
Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year contract at the first instance.
