We are looking for interns to join the Digital Industry & Talent Group (DITG) for our January to June 2027 internship cycle.
Scope of Work
- Consolidate, clean and maintain internship, industry certification and scholarship data across local/overseas tertiary institutions, companies and job roles to improve data quality and reporting.
- Perform data analytics to identify trends and generate insights e.g. company-IHL partnerships and internship demand by job role.
- Develop dashboards and presentation materials to communicate key programme metrics and insights to support planning and stakeholder engagements.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to strengthen IMDA's pre-employment training initiatives and industry partnerships.
- Support data-related projects for the Talent Development team e.g. Salesforce CRM enhancements, SOP updates for data management.
Learning Outcomes
- Gain an understanding of Singapore's pre-employment training and tech talent development ecosystem.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality framework and CRM best practices.
- Develop practical skills in data cleaning, analysis and visualisation to support programme planning, industry engagement strategies, and decision-making.
- Strengthen communication skills by presenting data insights through data models, dashboards, reports and presentations.
- Understand how government agencies collaborate with industry and education institutions to design and implement national talent development initiatives.
Skills Required
- Pursuing studies in computer, data, software or information systems related course, business analytics.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, coupled with ability to interpret and synthesise quantitative and qualitative information.
- Knowledge of BI tools, such as Tableau, Power BI and Excel for data querying and visualization.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy.
- Good documentation, research and communication skills.
