Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew deployment, rotations, sign-on, and sign-off arrangements for assigned vessels.
• Source and screen suitable seafarers in accordance with vessel manning requirements and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate crew records, personnel files, certification details, and employment documentation.
• Verify that seafarers hold valid licenses, medical certificates, training credentials, and other required documents before deployment.
• Arrange crew travel, accommodation, visas, work permits, and other logistical requirements for vessel assignments.
• Liaise with vessel Masters, internal departments, manning agencies, and external parties on crewing schedules and personnel matters.
• Monitor crew changes and manpower availability to ensure vessels remain adequately staffed and operationally ready.
• Prepare employment contracts, joining instructions, crew lists, and other crewing-related documentation.
• Support the administration of crew welfare, performance matters, training requirements, and employment-related queries.
• Ensure crewing activities comply with company policies, applicable maritime regulations, flag-state requirements, and industry standards.
  
  

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in crewing, marine personnel administration, ship management, or the maritime industry.
• Good knowledge of maritime crewing practices, STCW requirements, seafarer documentation, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with crewing, HR, or personnel management systems.
• Strong coordination, communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple crew movements and time-sensitive requirements.
