Our client is a fast-growing technology company specializing in intelligent matching and recommendation systems. This Senior Algorithm Engineer role offers an exciting opportunity to develop cutting-edge algorithms that directly impact millions of users' experiences. You'll be at the forefront of machine learning innovation, working on core matching algorithms and marketing optimization systems that drive significant business value.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and optimization of core matching and recommendation algorithms to continuously improve key performance metrics
Drive algorithm-powered initiatives to enhance user experience and business outcomes across multiple product verticals
Own the complete model development lifecycle from data processing and feature engineering to model training and deployment monitoring
Analyze product performance data to identify algorithmic gaps and propose data-driven improvement strategies for implementation
Research emerging deep learning techniques and adapt cutting-edge methodologies to solve real-world business challenges
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into production systems
Monitor algorithm performance and implement A/B testing frameworks to validate model improvements
Develop scalable machine learning pipelines to support rapid experimentation and model iteration
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field with 2+ years of hands-on algorithm development experience
Strong foundation in recommendation systems, search algorithms, or advertising optimization with proven track record in similar domains
Deep understanding of machine learning principles with expertise in causal inference, time series forecasting, multi-task learning, or reinforcement learning (is a bonus)
Proficiency in mainstream machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and strong programming skills in Python or similar languages
Experience with online learning systems and real-time algorithm deployment (is a bonus)
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with high sensitivity to data patterns and business metrics
