Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Governance

· Define the ETL testing strategy and test approach.

· Prepare test estimates, schedules, and resource plans.

· Establish test entry and exit criteria.

ETL & Data Validation

· Validate source-to-target data mappings.

· Perform reconciliation testing using QuerySurge.

· Validate business rules, transformations, and aggregations.

· Perform historical and incremental data validation.

· Verify data completeness, consistency, and accuracy.

Execution & Reporting

· Manage SIT, UAT, Regression, and Production Validation.

· Conduct defect triage and root-cause analysis.

· Prepare daily and weekly status reports and management dashboards.

· Track KPIs and quality metrics.

Technical Skills

· 12-15+ years of experience in Software Testing with 8+ years in ETL/DWH Testing.

· Strong hands-on experience in Teradata Data Warehouse testing.

· Expert knowledge of QuerySurge for automated data validation and reconciliation.

· Strong SQL scripting and complex query-writing skills.

· Experience validating source-to-target mappings and transformation logic.

· Strong understanding of ETL processes, Data Warehousing concepts, Data Migration Testing, Data Quality Testing, Data Reconciliation Testing, and Batch Processing Validation.

· Experience with the Hadoop/Hive ecosystem.

· Exposure to Snowflake or cloud data platforms is preferred.

· Experience working with Control-M and batch scheduling validation.

· Hands-on experience with Jira, ALM, and defect lifecycle management.

· Knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands and shell scripting.

Banking Domain Experience

· Minimum 5+ years of Banking Domain experience.

· Experience in Retail Banking, Risk & Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Customer and Account Data Platforms, and Finance and Risk Data Marts.

· Familiarity with UOB data ecosystem and enterprise reporting landscape is highly preferred.

Leadership Responsibilities

· Lead and manage a team of ETL Test Engineers.

· Review test strategy, test plans, and test execution reports.

· Allocate work and monitor team deliverables.

· Mentor junior ETL testers and establish best practices.

· Drive quality governance and testing standards.

· Manage stakeholder communication and escalations.

· Coordinate onsite and offshore delivery teams.

· Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality goals.
