What Makes You a Great Fit?
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Practical knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL).
- Experience handling a full set of accounts is a strong advantage.
- Familiar with bank reconciliation, financial reporting and month-end closing.
- Basic understanding of Malaysian taxation and statutory accounting requirements.
- Experience using SQL Accounting is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Independent, organised, responsible and able to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable adapting to a dynamic SME working environment.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle AP, AR and GL activities, including invoices, payments, receipts and journal entries.
- Assist with or independently manage full set accounting, depending on experience and assigned responsibilities.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
- Support monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Investigate accounting discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors when required.
- Support tax-related matters and statutory compliance.
- Verify and process employee claims and supporting financial documents.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
- Support other finance and accounting tasks assigned by management.
