Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and repair of passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and heavy-duty equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Inspect vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension, and air-conditioning systems.
• Carry out troubleshooting and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Remove, repair, replace, and reinstall defective vehicle components and parts.
• Conduct road tests and performance checks after repairs and servicing.
• Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and repair documentation.
• Ensure all repair and maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and industry regulations.
• Assist in vehicle inspections, commissioning, and technical assessments.
• Support workshop operations and collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of work areas, tools, and equipment.

Job Requirements:

Education & Qualifications

• Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related discipline.
• Relevant technical certifications in automotive maintenance and repair are advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in automotive maintenance, vehicle servicing, repair, or diagnostics.
• Experience with passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, trucks, construction equipment, or heavy vehicles is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of automotive mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Ability to perform vehicle diagnostics using computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Familiarity with engine, transmission, braking, steering, suspension, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair procedures.
