Tanggungjawab

Responsible for assisting kitchen operations, preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food preparation runs smoothly according to restaurant standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESFOOD PREPARATION

  • Assist chefs and cooks in preparing ingredients for cooking
  • Wash, cut, peel, and prepare vegetables, meat, seafood, and other ingredients
  • Prepare basic food items and sauces as instructed
  • Ensure ingredients are properly stored and labeled

KITCHEN SUPPORT

  • Assist with cooking preparation during operating hours
  • Refill kitchen supplies and ingredients when needed
  • Help arrange food items and kitchen equipment properly
  • Support kitchen team during busy periods

CLEANLINESS & HYGIENE

  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, pantry, cooking equipment, and utensils
  • Wash dishes, kitchen tools, and food preparation equipment
  • Dispose of kitchen waste properly
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

STOCK & STORAGE

  • Assist with checking and organizing stock deliveries
  • Store ingredients according to safety and storage procedures
  • Monitor stock levels and inform supervisor when supplies are low

MAINTENANCE & SAFETY

  • Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and properly
  • Report damaged equipment or safety issues to supervisor immediately

WORKING HOURS

  • Based on restaurant or resort shift schedule
  • Must be willing to work weekends and public holidays
  • Example shifts:
  • Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

REQUIREMENTS

  • Hardworking, responsible, and disciplined
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Physically fit for kitchen duties
  • Basic kitchen experience is an advantage
  • Able to follow instructions and hygiene standards properly
