Role Description The Legal Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Puchong, responsible for supporting DAQ Group’s legal and compliance needs. The role includes drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents and contracts related to logistics, warehousing, and commercial operations. The Legal Executive will provide basic legal guidance to internal stakeholders, liaise with external legal counsel when necessary, and help ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Day-to-day tasks also involve maintaining accurate legal records, coordinating documentation for property-related matters, and assisting with conveyancing processes where applicable. The role requires close collaboration with operational, finance, and management teams to support risk management and protect the organization’s legal interests.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation and regulations.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts and legal correspondence.
- Capability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to internal stakeholders on routine operational and commercial matters.
- Knowledge of Property Law and experience handling related documentation and compliance issues.
- Experience or exposure in Conveyancing, including coordination of property-related transactions and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification; admission to practice law is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present legal information in a clear, accessible manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain confidentiality and professional integrity.
- Prior experience in corporate, commercial, or logistics-related legal work is beneficial.
