About the Role

Avanade is seeking a senior communications professional to serve as the APAC Integrated Communications Lead. Based in Singapore, this role is the strategic communications partner to the APAC President and regional leadership team, owning the APAC communications plan and strategy across both internal and external audiences.

The individual will work with and direct dedicated specialist teams and agency partners who execute across media relations, thought leadership, social media and employee engagement. The role ensures a clear, consistent and compelling Avanade narrative across the region, positioning Avanade as the leading Microsoft partner driving AI-powered business transformation across APAC.

Primary Responsibilities

Executive Communications & Leadership Partnership

• Serve as the dedicated communications lead for the APAC President — owning their internal and external communications plan and strategy.
• Provide trusted strategic counsel to the APAC President and senior leadership team, drafting talking points, scripts, keynote messaging and briefing materials for key engagements.
• Manage and provide direction on the APAC President's social media presence across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms, maintaining alignment to Avanade and industry narratives.

Communications Strategy & Planning

• Own the APAC integrated communications plan — mapping activities against business priorities, growth initiatives, launches and key market moments across the region.
• Translate Avanade's global strategy and narrative into powerful, locally relevant messages for APAC markets, localizing global research and campaigns while maintaining alignment to the global communications framework.

Media Relations, Thought Leadership & Events

• Oversee the regional media relations strategy and programme, working with the global media relations lead and local agencies to build earned coverage momentum and message penetration.
• Oversee thought leadership and speaking opportunity development — positioning Avanade leaders as authoritative voices on AI and business transformation, and managing keynote and event logistics for the APAC President.

Integrated Campaigns & Employee Engagement

• Contribute to integrated marketing campaign planning across earned, owned, social and employee channels.
• Drive employee communications from the APAC President, activating through Viva Engage, all-hands events, leadership cascades and face-to-face moments, working closely with HR and local business leaders.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Microsoft and agency partners to identify and amplify client stories, announcements and newsworthy opportunities.

What You Bring

Experience

• 8 years of communications experience, ideally spanning both in-house and agency environments.
• Strong executive communications experience, with proven confidence advising and counselling senior leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement integrated communications strategies — with a digital and content focus.
• Experience across multiple communications disciplines and stakeholder types: media, analysts, employees, government and industry bodies.
• Experience working within enterprise technology, consulting, AI, cloud or digital transformation organizations preferred.

• Exceptional storyteller and writer — able to translate complex technology topics into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to localize global narratives and develop APAC-wide campaigns relevant across individual markets.
