Role: AS400 Developer / Engineer

Employment Type: 1-Year Renewable Contract

Job Summary

In this role, you will participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to develop, enhance, and maintain core banking systems, with a primary focus on banking projects and collections applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, code, test, and implement banking solutions on the AS400 platform across the complete SDLC.

• Core Banking Support: Support and maintain banking application modules, with a focus on Collections domains.

• Database & Program Maintenance: Write and optimize COBOL and DB2 queries/programs to ensure peak application performance.

• Testing & Technical Troubleshooting: Perform unit testing, system integration support, defect fixing, and technical troubleshooting for AS400 applications.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in AS400 development within the SDLC, preferably in banking projects (Collections focus is an advantage).

• Mandatory Technical Skills:

o Platform: AS400

o Programming: COBOL

o Database: DB2

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
