Job Summary
Lead and manage the carpentry team to deliver high-quality work by overseeing project execution, coordinating schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and building standards, and resolving work issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
Oversee the carpentry team to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications
Assign tasks to carpenters and monitor their performance and progress to meet project goals
Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and compliance with safety standards
Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate work schedules and timelines effectively
Ensure availability and proper condition of all materials and tools required for carpentry tasks
Review blueprints and technical drawings to determine precise project specifications and requirements
Ensure all carpentry work complies with building codes and industry standards
Conduct inspections and audits of completed work to maintain quality and safety standards
Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in carpentry work promptly to avoid delays
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Self-motivated and self-driven to maintain productivity and initiative
Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey information and updates
Project management skills to plan, organize, and oversee carpentry projects
Willingness to work on public holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays as required
Able to hand-on carpentry work and guide the junior.
