Support the Financial Risk Management function in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting the Bank’s risk profile to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., BNM/Basel) and internal risk appetite

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring financial risk exposures, including liquidity risk, market risk, capital management, and credit risk.
• Support the preparation of risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Track risk limits and early warning indicators; escalate breaches or irregularities.
• Assist in gathering and validating data for regulatory reporting (e.g., BNM submissions).
• Perform risk analysis (trend analysis, variance analysis, stress scenario inputs).
• Support maintenance of risk models, templates, and documentation.
• Participate in risk reviews, audits, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with business units to collect required data and clarify risk-related information.
• Assist in automating routine risk reports and data processes using tools such as Excel, SQL, or other analytics tools
• Perform scenario testing or stress testing based on the bank’s framework
• Maintain accurate records and ensure data quality

Job Requirements & Criteria:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or any relevant fields.
• More than 2 years of experience in banking, finance, risk, or analytics
• Knowledge of risk identification, assessment, and frameworks.
• Basic understanding of financial risk types (Liquidity Risk, Market Risk & Credit Risk)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, basic formulas; bonus: VBA, Python, or SQL).
• Statistical software coding skills will be added advantage
• Willingness to learn and take guidance.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadline
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends or inconsistencies.
