Role Description This is a part-time, remote General Physician role. The General Physician will provide virtual primary care consultations, assess patient histories, perform clinical evaluations via telehealth, and develop appropriate treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include reviewing diagnostic information, prescribing medications as clinically indicated, coordinating follow-up care, and documenting all encounters in a secure electronic medical record system. The role also involves collaborating with nursing staff and other clinicians, offering guidance on complex cases, and participating in patient education and preventive care initiatives. The physician is expected to maintain high standards of clinical quality, adhere to relevant regulations, and ensure respectful, inclusive care for all patients.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad range of general health conditions.
- Experience or familiarity with Family Medicine and Nursing collaboration to deliver coordinated, holistic care.
- Ability to provide Training and guidance to clinical staff or patients on health management and preventive care.
- Valid medical degree (MD or DO) and current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in relevant jurisdictions.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a closely related specialty is preferred.
- Experience with telemedicine platforms, electronic health records, and remote patient communication tools.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
