This role is based at our Kuala Lumpur office on a full time onsite basis.

About the Role

We are seeking a Performance Marketing Executive to join our Kuala Lumpur team. This role runs our paid media campaigns day to day. You will start with selected existing core campaigns in the United States and Europe, taking ownership of daily operations and testing. This is a hands on role: you will personally set up the campaigns, check the budgets, run the tests and report the results.

The role reports to the Performance Marketing Manager, who owns advertising strategy, overall budget allocation, new creative concepts and core messaging. Design, video and original copy are supplied by the team. CAPI and tag implementation, landing page production, and email and CRM operations sit outside this role. Additional markets and ad formats are assigned only after reviewing capacity.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Operations

• Set up and run Meta and Google Ads campaigns within the direction and budget agreed with the Performance Marketing Manager.
• Check budget pacing, schedules, links, UTMs and assets.
• Review daily results and adjust bids, targeting and creatives within agreed guidelines.

Testing

• Execute tests using supplied copy, images and video, and record the results.
• Identify stronger creatives and areas for improvement, then propose the next tests.

Reporting and Data

• Summarise spend, revenue, ROAS and purchase conversion.
• Compare platform results with Shopify and GA4.
• Flag material discrepancies or tracking issues to the relevant owner for resolution.

Coordination and Accuracy

• Coordinate required assets, approvals and deadlines.
• Adapt approved copy to placement requirements.
• Check that advertised products, prices and promotions match the landing page.

Requirements

• Hands on experience personally operating campaigns in either Meta Ads or Google Ads, with working knowledge of the other. Initial campaigns will match your strengths, with scope expanding progressively.
• Understanding of e-commerce budgets, conversions and ROAS, with examples of campaign operations and improvements you personally delivered.
• Two to four years of relevant experience preferred. Demonstrated capability and work quality take priority.
• Clear working English, written and spoken, sufficient for daily collaboration with colleagues in the United States and Europe.
• Basic reporting skills and careful QA, including a habit of checking the numbers before budget is spent and raising problems promptly.
• Dependable deadline management.
• Currently based in Kuala Lumpur, or able to relocate at your own expense.

Advantageous

• DTC brand, Shopify or GA4 experience.
• Structured creative testing and AI assisted workflows.
• Experience running campaigns across more than one market.
• Brand building strategy and specialist copywriting are not prerequisites for this role.

Initial Outcomes

Within 30 days you will take over the assigned campaigns and operating guidelines. By day 60 you will independently run daily operations, reporting and agreed tests. We will review on time delivery, budget control, error reduction and useful test learnings, then agree revenue and efficiency targets once the baseline is established.
