We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect – Data & AI Platforms to join our client’s team and lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise-scale data platforms, lakehouses, and analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture, with proven experience delivering cloud-native data and AI platforms, particularly using Azure Databricks and Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments.

• Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise-scale data platforms, lakehouses, and analytics solutions.
• Lead architecture across multiple workstreams, engineering teams, and technology vendors.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native data and AI platforms.
• Drive architecture decisions related to data ingestion, processing, storage, integration, governance, and analytics.
• Leverage Azure Databricks and relevant Azure services to develop enterprise-grade data platform architectures.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, governance, performance, and cost-optimization requirements within GCC environments.
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture, solution designs, and implementation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, cloud architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Identify architectural risks, manage technical dependencies, and maintain consistency across delivery teams and vendors.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data platforms, lakehouses, or analytics platforms.
• Strong experience leading architecture across multiple workstreams and vendors.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native data and AI platforms, particularly the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Strong expertise in Azure Databricks and enterprise data platform architecture.
• Experience working with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modelling, data integration, governance, security, and distributed systems.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.

• Experience delivering enterprise data transformation and modernisation initiatives.
• Familiarity with cloud security, regulatory compliance, and enterprise data governance.
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into enterprise data platforms.
• Relevant Azure or architecture certifications are an advantage.
