Our client is a Singapore public sector agency seeking an experienced Low Code Engineer to develop, maintain and operate secure, reliable digital applications using the OutSystems platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable OutSystems applications and integrations using APIs, SFTP and other integration technologies.
• Translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions, contributing to application architecture, technical design and code reviews.
• Manage OutSystems environments across development, testing and production, including deployments, upgrades, migrations and environment configuration.
• Troubleshoot application, workflow, timer, integration, database and platform issues; support production incidents, conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Build, maintain and troubleshoot applications hosted on AWS/GCC infrastructure, including IIS, Windows Server, SQL Server and related networking components.
• Improve engineering practices through CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, logging, observability and operational automation.
• Uphold security, compliance, backup, patching and disaster recovery standards while promoting maintainable code, documentation and platform governance.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders to balance technical quality, business priorities and operational requirements.
• Explore and implement AI capabilities or integrations where appropriate.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience developing and maintaining applications using OutSystems, with a strong understanding of its architecture, LifeTime, Service Center and deployment processes.
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience, with sound knowledge of application architecture, design principles and full-stack development.
• Working knowledge of C# and .NET, including backend services and API development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3, with experience in frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including data modelling, complex queries, performance optimisation and production troubleshooting.
• Experience with REST, SOAP or other API integration technologies.
• Experience supporting applications on AWS, GCC or equivalent cloud platforms, with knowledge of IIS, Windows Server, networking, high availability and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, logging, production incident management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
