Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant Intern to support our Finance & Accounts team in daily accounting and administrative tasks. This internship provides hands-on exposure to basic accounting processes within an F&B business.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with daily accounting data entry and record keeping.

· Assist in checking and processing invoices, bills, receipts and payment documents.

· Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

· Assist in recording and monitoring daily sales and collection records.

· Assist with bank reconciliation and other basic accounting reconciliations.

· Maintain proper filing of accounting and supporting documents.

· Assist in preparing simple reports, schedules and accounting summaries.

· Assist with monthly closing and other routine accounting tasks.

· Support the Finance team with ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties when required.

· Ensure accounting records and documents are maintained accurately and systematically.

Requirements

· Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Basic understanding of accounting principles.

· Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.

· Detail-oriented, organised and willing to learn.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Able to work independently as well as in a team.

· Previous accounting experience is not required, but will be an advantage.
