About the role
We are seeking an experienced
HR Executive (Payroll/Grants)
to join our HR team at our Tai Seng North-East Region location. This is a
full-time position
that plays a crucial role in managing our payroll operations and grant administration. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing employee benefits, and overseeing grant-related matters in compliance with regulatory requirements. This position is integral to supporting our workforce and maintaining strong HR operations across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration
Process monthly payroll accurately and within stipulated timelines.
Process payroll adjustments including salary increments, allowances, deductions, reimbursements and commissions.
Prepare final salary computations for resigned and terminated employees.
Submit CPF contributions accurately and on time.
Prepare payroll reports for Finance.
Statutory Claims & Government Grants
Prepare and submit statutory filings including IR8A, IR21 and government surveys.
Manage government grant applications and claims (e.g. CCP, GPL, NS MUP).
Maintain proper documentation and follow up on submissions.
Onboarding
Prepare employment documents and ensure completeness.
Set up HR systems (Infotech, In-House System).
Ensure employee records are complete and properly filed.
Prepare employee e-namecards.
Leave & HR Administration
Administer employee leave records.
Track probation periods and prepare confirmation letters.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Prepare monthly HR reports and ac-hoc if required
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Payroll Management, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar HR operations role
Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, CPF regulations, and tax compliance requirements
Experience with payroll processing systems and HR software platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications for data management and reporting
Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail in handling financial data
Familiarity with government grants and employment incentive schemes is highly desirable
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality
