Role Description The Managing Director is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Singapore, responsible for overseeing the company’s operations and contributing to global strategy. The role includes setting commercial objectives, driving business development, and managing key client and partner relationships in the precious metals sector. The Managing Director ensure strong performance management and coordinate closely with counterparts in Latin America and Europe. Day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing trading activities, monitoring risk and compliance, and making data-driven decisions to support sustainable growth. The role also requires regular reporting to senior leadership, managing budgets and resources, and representing the company with regulators, banks, and strategic stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, team manag
• ement, and people development skills, with experience overseeing cross-functional or regional teams.
• +15 years proven expertise in metals and precious metals physical trading, commodities structured & trade finance, including risk management and pricing acumen.
• Strategic planning and business development capabilities, including setting growth targets, identifying new markets, and cultivating key partnerships.
• Operational and organizational management skills, such as budget oversight, process optimization, and performance tracking.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance, governance standards, and ethical business practices in international precious metals trading.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a senior leadership role within financial services, commodities trading, or a related industry, with international exposure.
• Mandatory: Fluency in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese is required
• Salary range: SGD 11k-15k and performance bonus
