Job Vacancy: Operations Assistant/Executive – Freight Forwarding

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant with experience in freight forwarding and logistics to support our daily air and sea freight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and handle Air and Sea freight shipments for both imports and exports.

• Prepare and process shipping documentation, customs clearance and shipment arrangements.

• Liaise with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines and transport providers.

• Monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery and operational efficiency.

• Handle customer enquiries and provide shipment updates.

Requirements:

• Relevant working experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations.

• Good knowledge and understanding of Incoterms and international shipping procedures.

• Hands-on experience in Air and Sea Import/Export operations.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multitask, work independently and perform well in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
