Responsibilities

Security Operations

• Manage daily security activities across sites, including patrol schedules, access control, and CCTV monitoring.
• Lead incident response for security events, coordinate immediate actions, and document outcomes for follow up.
• Maintain and audit security systems and logs to ensure continuous coverage and rapid investigation.

Risk & Compliance

• Conduct regular risk assessments and translate findings into practical controls and site-level action plans.
• Develop and update security policies, standard operating procedures, and emergency response plans.
• Coordinate internal and external audits to confirm compliance with company standards and local regulations.

Team & Vendor Management

• Lead, coach, and roster security staff while driving clear training and performance expectations.
• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, including contracts, service SLAs, and quality checks.
• Prepare operational budgets, procurement requests, and concise reports for senior management review.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in security, risk management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of security experience, with at least some supervisory or managerial responsibility.
• Proven track record working in a corporate or professional services environment is an advantage.
• Industry certifications such as CPP, PSP, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV systems, and common security management platforms.
• Experience performing risk assessments, incident investigations, and emergency planning.
• Familiarity with Malaysian regulatory requirements related to workplace safety and asset protection.
• Competent with Microsoft Office and the ability to prepare clear operational reports and dashboards.
