Job Responsibilities

Take full overall charge of the company’s regional business and sales operation in Malaysia, covering core products including medium and low-voltage switchgears, medium and low-voltage busbars, power transformers, and packaged substations. Formulate localized Malaysia regional sales strategies, annual business plans and sales targets, fully oversee regional market layout, and steadily achieve annual sales revenue, order volume and market share goals in the Malaysian power equipment market.

Develop, expand and maintain core local customer resources in Malaysia, including Data Centre Investors, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), local power supply enterprises, professional EPC contractors, industrial and manufacturing enterprises, and government infrastructure project clients. Establish long-term, stable and in-depth strategic cooperative relationships, track key project progress, and resolve core problems and bottlenecks in customer cooperation and project implementation.

Conduct in-depth and continuous research on the Malaysian power equipment market, including local power industry development trends, national energy policies, grid construction planning, industry bidding rules and competitor dynamics. Sort out market demands and pain points regularly, compile professional regional market analysis reports, and provide reliable decision-making basis for the company’s product localization iteration, pricing strategy adjustment and market expansion layout.

Build, manage and lead the local Malaysian sales and service team, formulate systematic team training mechanisms, performance appraisal and incentive plans. Improve the professional literacy, product professionalism and business negotiation capabilities of team members, optimize team operation efficiency, and drive the continuous improvement of regional overall business performance.

Act as the core liaison for the company’s Malaysia regional business, efficiently coordinate internal resources including production, technical R&D, quality inspection, after-sales service and logistics departments. Fully guarantee the smooth progress of project quotation, technical scheme docking, order production, delivery supervision, on-site technical support and after-sales maintenance services, and improve customer satisfaction and project delivery quality.

Responsible for regional brand promotion and market reputation building in Malaysia, participate in local industry exhibitions, industry seminars and business docking activities, expand industry influence, and explore new business opportunities and market growth points.

Job Qualifications

(A) Education & Major

Bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Electrical Engineering and Automation, Electrical Power System, Marketing, International Trade or other related engineering and business majors are preferred.

(B) Work Experience

At least 5 years of professional sales and regional business management experience in the Malaysian power equipment industry; candidates with in-depth industry experience in medium and low-voltage switchgears, busbars, power transformers and complete substation equipment are highly preferred.

Proven successful track record of developing local power industry customers in Malaysia, independently winning medium and large-value project orders, and maintaining long-term stable customer cooperation. Familiar with the overall operation process of Malaysian power engineering projects, local public bidding, enterprise invitation bidding and project approval procedures.

(C) Professional Competencies

Fully familiar with Malaysia’s national power industry policies, grid construction development plans, local project budget standards and customer procurement demands. Capable of independently analyzing customer project requirements, matching the company’s power equipment products, and formulating targeted professional sales and overall project solution strategies.

Possess excellent business negotiation, business judgment and senior customer relationship management capabilities. Able to independently conduct in-depth communication and business docking with enterprise executives, project directors and power institution representatives, and efficiently promote project cooperation negotiation, landing and repeat orders.

Solid professional knowledge of power equipment, proficient in the technical parameters, performance advantages, product characteristics and engineering application scenarios of switchgears, busbars and transformers, able to conduct professional technical explanation and product promotion for customers.

Possess independent regional market operation and team management capabilities, able to formulate localized market expansion plans and efficiently solve various business and team management problems in regional operation.

(D) Language & Comprehensive Literacy

Language Proficiency: Fluent in English with barrier-free listening, speaking, reading and writing skills for daily business negotiation, official document communication and project docking. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is a strong plus, capable of smooth communication with local government departments, customers and team members.

Comprehensive Literacy: Strong result-oriented and target-oriented awareness, excellent pressure resistance, market insight and cross-cultural communication capabilities. Possess mature team leadership and overall regional business coordination abilities. Willing to be long-term stationed in Malaysia or take frequent long-term business trips locally. Candidates with Malaysian local business operation and cross-cultural team management experience are preferred.
