Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and versatile Operations & Technical Support Assistant to handle a variety of daily hands-on tasks. This role is highly dynamic, combining basic technical handling, light administrative duties, and general workplace upkeep. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, practical, and comfortable switching between hands-on technical work, general operational support, and occasionally representing the company at public events.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical & Equipment Support
Handle basic equipment handling, including the disassembly and reassembly of machine covers and casings.
Perform routine cleaning and cosmetic maintenance of machine outlooks and surfaces.
Assist senior technicians with basic troubleshooting preparation as required.
Event & Brand Representation:
Represent the company at events, exhibitions, or pop-up stalls.
Manage and look after the event stall, ensuring inventory is secure and neatly displayed.
Operate an on-site engraving machine to customize products for customers during events.
General & Inventory Administration
Execute daily data entry tasks to keep operational logs and records up to date.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and assist with inventory management.
Maintain workplace organization and perform basic floor and workspace maintenance.
Logistics & Miscellaneous Support:
Pack shipments securely and prepare goods for dispatch.
Manage parcel deliveries, drop-offs, and incoming courier collections.
Fulfill ad-hoc operational and administrative tasks to support the team.
Requirements:
Comfortable working with basic hand tools for simple assembly/disassembly tasks.
No prior engraving experience required; full technical training and plenty of hands-on practice time will be provided.
Confident, approachable, and responsible personality for looking after event stalls and interacting with customers.
Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory logging.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Physically fit and capable of handling light lifting (packing, moving parcels, and setting up event stalls).
Proactive attitude with a willingness to take on diverse, day-to-day tasks.
