Project Planner | Banting, Selangor | Plan Data Center Projects

This is a chance to plan and schedule modular data center projects for a fast-growing infrastructure provider in Selangor.

About The Client

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading prefabricated modular data center infrastructure provider to hire a Project Planner based in Banting, Selangor, Malaysia, supporting the delivery of modular data center projects for AI, cloud and hyperscale clients.

The Role

• Develop, update and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Work with project managers, engineers and site teams to keep schedules accurate and achievable.
• Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks and propose recovery and mitigation plans.
• Prepare progress reports, including S-curves, bar charts and critical path analysis.
• Integrate project schedules with cost control and resource planning.
• Support tender planning, develop baseline schedules, and run schedule impact and what-if analyses for project changes.
• Ensure schedules comply with client requirements and company standards.

About You

Must-haves

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 2-5 years of planning or scheduling experience in the construction or engineering industry.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, plus strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Extension of Time (EOT) claims and the Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Good understanding of resource planning, project scheduling and project controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure.

• Hours: 5.5-day week, 8 AM - 5 PM Monday to Friday and 8 AM - 12 PM Saturday.
