We are looking for a hands-on Accountant to join our Finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. You will handle the full set of accounts for one entity and support reporting for another, with real exposure to audit, tax and corporate secretarial work.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts for one group entity, including journal entries, monthly closing, fixed asset register, schedules (related company, prepayments, deposits, accruals) and payments.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns.
• Prepare monthly management accounts for a second entity, including general and inventory journal entries and stock-take reporting.
• Review royalty calculations and handle the related withholding tax (WHT) filing with IRAS.
• Perform first-level checks on payments for accuracy and supporting documents before approval.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations across multiple banks.
• Prepare audit schedules and work with external auditors through the annual audit.
• Handle annual corporate tax filing and assist with company secretarial documents, such as resolutions.
• Support the group's Variable Capital Company (VCC) fund on ad-hoc finance matters and the annual audit.
• Support the annual budgeting process and other ad-hoc finance and administrative matters.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• At least [3–5] years of full-set accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of SFRS, GST and Singapore corporate tax.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Meticulous and accurate, with strong ownership of deadlines.
• Able to work independently and manage the full accounting cycle with minimal supervision.
• Proactive in improving processes and controls.
• Clear written and spoken English; able to communicate confidently with auditors, banks and vendors.

Nice to have

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA Singapore or CPA.
• Experience with NetSuite.
