Position: Customer Service Agent (Japanese)

Location: Malaysia

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Japanese-speaking customers of a global customer experience and technology company across travel products, including hotels, flights and activities

• Handle customer and partner enquiries via phone, email and messaging channels in a professional and friendly manner

• Take ownership of customer issues, including operational matters, pricing and invoice enquiries

• Identify opportunities to improve customer service through self-service initiatives and process improvements

• Keep open communication with Team Leaders and Managers regarding performance, feedback and coaching

• Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver an excellent customer experience

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent spoken and written Japanese and English

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or partner-facing role

• Strong customer service skills: attentiveness, empathy, patience and consistency

• Professional telephone etiquette and excellent attention to detail

• Willingness to work rotating 24/7 shifts, including weekends and public holidays

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential information

• Experience in travel, hospitality, airlines or BPO customer service is an advantage
