TECHNICAL ASSISTANT - DESIGN
Location: Bukit Beruntung

JOB DESRIPTION

• Reporting to Head of Department /Asst Manager /Technical Executive of B&D
• To assist the Technical Executive in preparing feasibility study on part proposal and quotation under special project for further development.
• To assist Technical Executive/HoD ini auto part feasibility & design activities.
• To assist in evaluating existing and new local supplier through quality process audit.
• To follow the procedure, process flow and documentation according to IATF 16949 or customer requirement during the project development e.g. APQP, DFMEA, PPAP etc.
• To assist Technical Executive / HoD in the preparation of 3D & 2D data including jig design as per required by customer.
• To assist & propose in studying & understanding design concept of part in order to produce a better new improve design.
• To assist & propose in identifying, adapting and implementing new technology, method or system (software & hardware) for the improvement of R&D's effeciency and availability.
• To assist & propose in designing new products in order to diversify into other non-auto market.
• To involve & assist in value added and value engineering (VA/VE) activities with the latest material, process technology and part commonization.
• To follow up and ensure the progress of new project development of the company and liaise with customers, mold makers, material and child parts supplier to meet the project requirement as scheduled.
• In-charge of data receiving management from customer and to support data review.
• To manage storage arrangement of mould 2D & 3D data.
• In-charge for prototype management (from purchase, storage, fabrication and etc.) including maintenance exercise for prototype machine.
• To ensure all equipment in good condition & keep 5S inside Design and Prototype room.
• To hold responsibilities pertaining to department's functions and objectives including customer confidentiality and intellectual properties.
• Join Asaichi for 30 minutes on weekdays.
• Other tasks as determined by the Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to learn and develop technical knowledge and skills in design and product development.
• Basic knowledge of 2D/3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA) is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of automotive parts, product design, and manufacturing processes is an added advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to take on new challenges.
• Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Willing to work in Bukit Beruntung, Selangor.
• Able to follow procedures, maintain proper documentation, and ensure confidentiality of company and customer information.
• Fresh graduates with a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn are welcome to apply.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
