Job Responsibilities
Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details for interior design projects.
Develop detailed furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, lighting layouts, electrical plans, and other relevant technical drawings.
Produce detailed carpentry drawings, including built-in cabinets, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, and custom-made furniture.
Translate interior designers’ concepts, sketches, and design proposals into accurate technical drawings for construction and installation.
Coordinate with interior designers, project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
Revise and update drawings according to design changes, site measurements, and client feedback.
Conduct site measurements and verify existing site conditions where required.
Ensure drawings comply with relevant building regulations, technical requirements, and project specifications.
Maintain proper documentation and organise drawing files, revisions, and project records.
Support the project team in resolving technical drawing issues during the construction and installation stages.
Job Requirements
Diploma, certificate, or relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other relevant design software will be an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret interior design plans, construction drawings, and technical details.
Good understanding of carpentry detailing, material specifications, and interior construction methods.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the design and project teams.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant working experience will be an advantage.
