At X-BAND, we deliver hands-on drone education programmes that introduce students to drone technology, practical flying skills and responsible drone operations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Drone Training & Operations Intern to join our team. You will receive practical drone training, learn to operate different types of drones, assist in conducting training sessions, and gain experience working with students.

No previous drone experience is required. Training will be provided.

What You Will Do

• Learn to operate different types of drones through hands-on training.
• Prepare, inspect and organise drones and training equipment.
• Assist in conducting practical drone training sessions.
• Guide students through basic drone flying exercises and simulation activities.
• Demonstrate safe and responsible drone operations.
• Assist students in understanding drone controls and flying techniques.
• Assist with training preparation, equipment management and setup.
• Participate in actual drone flying programmes across Klang Valley.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aviation, Robotics & Automation, Computer Science, Information Technology, Education or any fields.
• Available for a minimum internship duration of 5 months
• Must possess your own personal car and a valid driving licence. (Mandatory)
• Able to travel independently across Klang Valley.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Comfortable interacting with students and have the patience to teach.
• Responsible, punctual, disciplined and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Genuine interest in drones, aviation, technology, teaching or education.
• Enjoy working with students and conducting activities.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Previous experience in tutoring, teaching assistance or drone activities is an advantage.
• Comfortable participating in activities and demonstrations.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to take responsibility.

No previous drone flying experience is required. We will provide the necessary training.
