Management Trainee — Studio Management

XYCO is a boutique fitness brand in the heart of Robertson Quay, offering Reformer, Hot Sculpt and Spin programmes across two beautifully designed studios. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious, curious and highly driven individual to join us as a full-time Management Trainee, working closely with our studio owners and leadership team.

This is an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in building and operating a premium fitness brand — from creating an exceptional member experience and managing the day-to-day studio operations, to understanding people, processes and the commercial side of the business.

You will be exposed to different areas of the business and given increasing levels of responsibility as you develop. No two days will necessarily look the same, and we are looking for someone who thrives in an environment where they are expected to think on their feet, take ownership and make things happen.

We believe the best people are those who are willing to put on different hats. Whether it's solving an operational challenge, helping a member, coordinating with an instructor, working on a new initiative or supporting the wider team — you will be an integral part of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Studio Operations & Member Experience

• Work closely with the studio owners to ensure the smooth and seamless running of our studios
• Support the day-to-day operations across our Reformer, Hot Sculpt and Spin programmes
• Help create a consistently exceptional experience for every member who walks through our doors
• Oversee studio readiness, operational standards and daily processes
• Handle member enquiries and feedback with warmth, professionalism and attention to detail
• Identify opportunities to improve the member journey and overall studio experience

People & Team

• Support the coordination of instructors and studio team members
• Assist with schedules, communications and day-to-day team requirements
• Build strong relationships across the team and learn how to manage different personalities and situations
• Gain exposure to the people-management aspects of running a growing studio business

Business & Growth

• Gain hands-on exposure to the commercial side of the business, including sales, memberships and retention
• Assist in tracking and understanding key studio performance metrics
• Support studio events, partnerships, community initiatives and brand activations
• Work alongside the leadership team on projects that contribute to the growth of XYCO
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and business performance

Projects & Ownership

• Take ownership of assigned projects and operational areas
• Research, develop and implement new ideas that can enhance the studio experience
• Help develop and improve systems and processes as XYCO continues to scale
• Be encouraged to challenge the status quo and bring fresh ideas to the table

Requirements

• Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident
• Polytechnic, University or higher education level
• Previous experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, customer service or operations is advantageous, but not essential
• No prior fitness industry experience required — we care more about your attitude, potential and willingness to learn
