The Role

We are looking for a skilled L3 Apps Support professional to join our team on-site at Damansara, supporting critical applications within the banking and financial services sector. In this role, you will act as a key escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of business-critical applications while mentoring junior team members and contributing to continuous service improvement.

What You'll Do

• Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or Teams in a timely and professional manner
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues reported by users
• Identify and escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams or senior technicians
• Lead application maintenance and support of back-end services
• Document customer interactions, issue details, and resolutions clearly and accurately
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide feedback and improve product performance
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technical support staff, and participate in on-call rotation as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a software or technology company
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, software applications, and networking concepts
• Experience creating REST/SOAP based web services and familiarity with front-end technologies (Java/.NET)
• Strong knowledge of databases such as MySQL or MS SQL, and experience deploying applications in Linux
• Excellent communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
