Leadership role
Responsibilities:
Manage daily
aviation, passenger, cargo and ground operations
.
Plan and allocate
manpower, equipment and resources
to support operations.
Ensure
facilities, vehicles and equipment
are properly maintained and operational.
Review and improve
SOPs, work processes and operational procedures
.
Ensure compliance with
safety, security and regulatory requirements
.
Manage
cargo handling, MHE, dangerous goods and hazardous materials
.
Support
airbase operations and military aircraft ground services
.
Monitor operational issues, coordinate rectification and implement
corrective/preventive actions
.
Conduct
safety briefings, audits and risk assessments
.
Manage and develop the
operations team
, including training, manpower planning and recruitment.
Monitor
departmental budgets, purchasing and operational expenses
.
Coordinate with
customers, contractors, auditors and internal departments
to ensure smooth operations.
Key Success:
Diploma in Operations Management or equivalent.
Experienced with aviation industry, air force or similar capacity.
