Need be able to read, write, and speak in Mandarin

1–2 years of software engineering experience

Computer science degree, bootcamp graduate, or equivalent self-taught background.

AI-Assisted Coding Proficiency: Hands-on experience using AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to write, debug, and iterate on code efficiently.

Core Programming Foundations: Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, HTML/CSS, and modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js, or Node.js).

AI Knowledge: Basic understanding of Generative AI concepts (diffusion models, prompts, REST APIs, JSON data structures).

Mindset: Fast learner who adapts quickly to new tools, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to explore the cutting edge of AI filmmaking tech.

Strong analytical skills, fast learner, detail-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, and a good team player.

Use AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to generate, refactor, and write clean, scalable code across frontend and backend systems.

Build user interface components for Imaginary's Cinema Studio, including controls for camera setups, 3D staging tools, and collaborative canvas workspaces.

Assist in maintaining and building features for the user credit top-up and billing engine.

Help implement and test API endpoints for third-party Generative AI models, including video and image generation engines (e.g., Kling AI, Google Veo, BytePlus Seedance, xAI Grok).

Support the integration of Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoints to expand external AI assistant integrations.

Assist in testing character consistency pipelines to ensure seamless asset rendering across multi-shot sequences.

Prompt AI tools to rapidly identify bugs, generate test suites, and write unit/integration tests for critical workflows.

Debug frontend rendering issues, backend API latencies, and asset upload/down pipelines.

Maintain clear documentation for APIs, component libraries, and internal development tools.
